Hello,
My name is Luke Chambers. I have attended 5 high school art credits and 4 high school digital media credits. The work I have made in my digital media class far exceeds the success in my art class. However, I intend to challenge myself and make more fine art while still making a steady flow of digital work. After 4 years of planning and experimenting I believe I have finally found what I love to make. In my opinion, my work is abstract with order. The concepts I have learned from Digital media have influenced my fine art in recent years. Before I had a concept of how to paint, my plan was randomness. After years of trial and error I found out that the best thing for me to do was have order in my work and to make sense of what I was doing. At the end of my Junior year I was freed from the randomness and a light shone a new path for me to explore. When I combined both subjects together my work succeeded. The feedback was positive and now I plan to continue with this idea. The future holds many new and great opportunities for me and I can't wait to get to working on them.
